Coming from NYC, it's a common sight to see graffiti, however I didn't expect to find much of it in a place like Reading. Here is a building which is quite prominent on Kings road. I can see this every day as I walk home by the River Kennet. Fortunately, there is a graffiti cleaning crew part of the council but I doubt they would go and clean private properties. For those of you who do find graffiti in public places and would like to report it for cleaning, you can call a number to report this. Unfortunately, I can't find that number at this moment, but you could also call the Reading Council and have them direct you in the right direction. I'll post the number shortly.

The homeless...or are they
There aren't an enormous number of homeless people in Reading, at least from what I've seen. This particular chap is quite well known, not just for his all black tattered attire but for his ability to keep walking. I don't think I've ever seen him sitting down in a place.

Roadwork blues
Not sure why but there seems to be repavement work going on in the town centre. Didn't think the roads were bad, but then again I don't drive. Worst part was, they placed the fences in such a way so that you can't cross from Market place to London street but even worse you can't cross from one side of Market place to the other. I had to go all the way to the start of the high street (Broad street and King street junction and come around by Coffee Republic to get onto London Street. Hope it gets done by tomorrow morning.

The beauty of autumn
A beautiful day in Reading. I love autumn due to the wonderful colours the leaves turn to during this time of the year.
